let me introduce you to yourself.
Everything on her body hurt, even her hair. She couldn't get out of bed even if she wanted to. She wanted to take a few hours to try to regain her strength before she moved on with her daily routine. She was in her bed laying on her back as she was scrolling her phone. She had this bad habit of dropping her phone right on her face when she laid in bed this way, but it was her favorite so she endured it. She was checking her social media when she saw an alarm go off with the words WATCH ME CATHERINE. LOOK AT YOUR VIDEOS.

That was bizarre and weird. She didn't remember putting that in her phone so it had to be her other self. It didn't scare her. The few people she talked about what was going on with her assured her that she wasn't a bad person. She was one of the good guys, ready to save the world. Even though it was still hard to believe, she had to swallow it. There was evidence to prove it. She furrowed her brows into a frown as she looked at her phone. She couldn't believe what she was reading, and she truthfully she was afraid to look at her phone. What if there's footage of her maiming someone?

Her heart was beating faster, and she couldn't get herself to calm down. She kept closing her eyes before opening them and looking out at her wall. She couldn't be scared of what was there. She had to know. She let out another sigh and scrolled her phone until she saw a video she didn't remember taking. It made her sit up on the bed with her back against the headboard. It was time to face the music, whatever she was facing. "Hi, I'm Carol," as the video began.

"I'm right there with you Catherine, or is it Cate? Catherine is such a pretty name, you should use it more. This is as new to me as it is you. I don't know what I'm doing here as much as you don't. But you're not going to believe anything unless you see it. If you're like me, you need facts or you'll just think you're on a big acid trip. I don't blame you. I bet it's hard watching this video...."

Cate sat in silence as she watched herself... the other woman... on the screen. She looked so confident. She kept her blonde hair pulled back from her face, and she just had this kind of confidence that Cate was always missing. Could she be in awe of herself? Seeing this woman before her eyes talking to her own voice, looking exactly like her, was cooler than she wanted to admit. She wasn't afraid anymore. Seeing the way she carried herself and the way she talked about people actually put her own mind at ease.

"But I stop this video....seeing is believing."

Integer vitae fermentum elit. ClShe didn't know what she meant by that until Cate watched herself, no Carol, prop the phone on something. The phone was propped in a way that all you could see were Carol's legs and feet. This is when Carol bent down a bit to show her face toward the camera again.

"I can go higher than this, but I don't want to hit my head on the ceiling."

She didn't know what she meant by that until she saw her stand up straight again. Cate watched the way Carol seemed to levitate in front of her as her legs began to lift out of the frame followed by her feet. She could hear something that sounded like she was smacking her the ceiling before she fell back down on her knees into the frame of her camera.

Seeing herself fly made her do nothing but break into a smile because that was kind of cool to be able to do, she thought. She scooted back to lay on her back again as she held onto her phone and waited to see one final thing from her counterpart.

"Until we meet again," Carol said as she waved toward the camera, but this time her fingers seemed to look as if they were emitting light from her fingertips. This is where the video stopped, and Cate could only utter one single word at what she just witnessed.

"Fuck."
